Paul Gallen has pulled it off, defeating both Ben Hannant and Justin Hodges in the same night.

Gallen couldn’t put Hannant away within four rounds but got the job done against Hodges, overcoming a second-round knockdown to put his opponent away in the third.

There was a moment of controversy in the second round when Gallen landed a shot with Hodges almost completely over the ropes.

When the finish came, Hodges was unhappy with the decision, suggesting he wasn’t hurt.

Take a look at our blow-by-blow wrap below.

Gallen vs. Hodges and Hannant live updates, results

Paul Gallen defeats Justin Hodges via third-round TKO

Gallen pushes the pace and Hodges eventually wilts. Gal had Hodges up against the ropes, raining down blows before the referee eventually saw enough.

Round 2: Crazy round! Hodges drops Gallen with a right. Gallen recovers and pours the pressure on late. Lots of feeling in this one.

Round 1: An action-packed two minutes as both men look for an early mark. Hodges looked to be on top for a moment but Gallen came back strongly and seemingly rocked Hodges with what may have been a shot to the back of the head.

9:28pm: Goodall delivers a stinging callout to Paul Gallen: “Fight me or f**k off.”

If he can’t get Gal, he wants Kris Terzievski.

Joe Goodall defeats Arsene Fosso via third-round TKO

Goodall gets back in the winners’ circle with a fairly clinical performance.

The Aussie was clearly on top when Fosso took a knee late in the third, seemingly having had enough.

Lachie Higgins defeats Ben Hussain via second-round TKO

Higgins lands a peach of a left hook which sends Hussain to the mat.

He answers the count but the referee isn’t satisfied he’s got his wits about him and waves it off.

Junior Tafa defeats David Tuliloa via third-round TKO

Despite giving away 40kg, Tafa broke Tuliloa down before finishing him with a pair of big right hands in the third.

8:28pm: Hannant didn’t get the win but he did himself proud and helped out Justin Hodges by making Gallen fight all four rounds. Gallen heads back to his dressing room to relax before fight number two.

Paul Gallen defeats Ben Hannant via unanimous decision

Round 4: More of the same as Hannant survives to the final bell, against the odds. Gal a comfortable winner but he would have liked to expend a lot less energy.

Round 3: It looks like Gallen can’t quite get a read on Hannant’s awkward timing. Despite that, he’s absolutely dominating. Hannant’s durability definitely a nuisance though.

Round 2: A dominant round for Gallen but you have to respect Hannant’s willingness to trade. Gallen will be looking to end this shortly.

Round 1: Hannant comes out swinging but Gallen is more than happy to stand in range and let Hannant punch himself out. Gal lands a right hand towards the end, the biggest punch of the round

Ty Telford defeats Vanlalawmpuia via first-round TKO

Quick as a flash, Telford ends the fight with a flurry.

His Indian opponent ate a right hand but just managed to stay on his feet before Telford swarmed and the ref stepped in.

Vanlalawmpuia not happy with the stoppage which could have gone either way.

Renold Quinlan defeats Jack Bowen via fifth-round knockout

After an absolute barnburner in which Bowen was almost certainly up on the cards, Quinlan pulls it out of the bag with a monster overhand right.

Bowen tried to answer the count but could never get his legs.

What a fight.

7pm: With the prelims wrapped up, the main card is just around the corner.

Miles Zalewski defeats Shiva Mishra via third-round TKO

In a rematch of their fight a couple months back, Zalewski repeats this dose, this time getting the stoppage in the third instead of the sixth after a one-sided beatdown.

Jalen Tait defeats Sachin Mudaliar via second-round knockout

Tait dominated the fight with his jab and work to the body but closed the show with an overhand left on the button.

The 21-year-old improves to 9-0 and looks to have a bright future.

Ange Harries defeats Angel Rushton via unanimous decision

Desley Robinson defeats Stephanie Mfongwot via unanimous decision
