Hollywood actor Tom Hardy, 45, has won another gold medal after secretly entering a jiu-jitsu event in Milton Keynes in the UK.

The Sun reports runner up Andy Leatherland, 42, said: “He brought the same intensity as he does to his films.”

The event’s sponsor, Sean Rosborough, described Hardy as “brilliant”.

“We found out he was coming probably a couple of weeks before,” he said.

“But the organisers kept it to themselves — and didn’t want masses of people turning up distracting him from what he was doing.

“He was brilliant. A lot of people were asking for photos, and coming up to him, and he had no problem with that all.

“The mums were all over him. It didn’t bother him.

“And when he was fighting, he was focused on what he was doing. He’s amazing at Jiu-Jitsu.”

Hardy was seen posing with his gold medal and certificate, which featured his full name Edward.

After taking up the Brazilian martial art while filming the film ‘Warrior’, the Peaky Blinders star clearly found himself a natural.

Hardy has now won two jiu-jitsu tournaments after he came out on top in the competition in Wolverhampton in August.

Those in the building were treated to the Venom star emerging victorious at the event.

Hardy, who is a big combat sports fan, trained in MMA for the 2011 film Warrior and has experience of fighting in several of his roles.

They include playing the Kray twins in Legend and Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders.
